It is transmedia storytelling, intentionally and immediately stretching beyond film to publishing, exhibition, and performing arts.


Short Bio

Sallomé Hralima is a writer and producer born in San Francisco and based in Brooklyn, NY. She specializes in documentary and historical drama. She has won awards and recognition for Best Narrative Short, Best Screenwriting, and Best in Festival.  Her documentary filmmaking includes a retrospective on the impact of “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” a spotlight on hip hop archivist Syreeta Gates, an exploration of the role of community in home birth, and “It Was All a Dream,” a feature documentary focusing on the rappers and producers in the west and east coasts just before its biggest stars are slain. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children - Dream & Legacy.
